Rural aspect in a modern house in the Netherlands

Aatvos architecture firm created this house for a family in Donderen, Netherlands.

The family bought an old farm to rid the house to build a modern, yet traditional style tributary imposed by law in the area.

The architects did an excellent job and respecting local history, created a sort of modern barn, with pool and orchard.

This project is hard evidence as to integrate newly constructed homes in rural areas as well as they did back in the day, old houses. Here we have a model of good practice, which would be nice if they had followed and builders in Romania!

On how harmonious is the environment outside the house, the contrast is so inside. We find here an eclectic collection of furniture and art equipment for a life of ease.
